Freedom of Speech

Elon Musk purchased Twitter on October 27, 2022, for $44 billion. He subsequently fired ~80% of the staff and focused on maximum free speech rather than censored content.

Twitter was later renamed to X and became the platform of choice for people to share news (and misinformation) on activities in their lives. To combat the misinformation, Elon added a Community Notes feature to allow other X users to note when a post contained false or misleading information.

As a result, X became a trusted source of news and finding out facts and news that were deemed politically incorrect.

In the UK, a long buried problem of Muslim rape gangs with THOUSANDS of victims was exposed for the world to see.

In the U.S., the free and open X platform was essential to sharing how the mainstream media took clips of Donald Trump’s speeches out of context.
